We are thrilled to share that the RISE Infosec Foundation will officially launch in Strasbourg, France, at Team Cymru’s Underground Economy event on September 1 to 4, 2025. It feels fitting to announce a global mission in a city known for diplomacy, collaboration, and a few centuries of quiet determination.
Our goal is simple: make cybersecurity training sustainable, affordable, and accessible for professionals across the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific. Too many bright minds lack opportunity, not talent, and that gap weakens our shared digital ecosystem. When we empower emerging regions, we improve security for everyone online.
We are building pathways, not barriers. Imagine the impact when a researcher in Nairobi, Bogotá, or Kuala Lumpur gains the same high-quality training as someone in London or Toronto. Why should geography decide who gets to defend the Internet?
